CHI ENERGY
CHI travels everywhere. CHI or "QI" surrounds us, it
is the cosmic breath. Feng Shui is based on the concept that our
universe (not just earth) is filled with this energy. There is
no exact translation for the word CHI in the English language,
therefore it is an extremely word (meaning) to explain, and in
essence it's energy. I will try give you a better idea what CHI
is, take a look at the famous "Ta Chi" symbol.

The Tai Chi symbol above is said to represent the whole of the
universe, it represents good and bad, light and dark, black and
white, strong and weak these forces compliment each other, they
don't conflict with each other. These forces (CHI) are in a constant
state of flux (change).
Sheng chi, the "cosmic dragon's breath" or beneficial
energy that brings good luck and happiness. When you practice
Feng Shui, you're simply accumulating and directing the "flow"
of sheng chi. You're also working to avoid shar chi which is bad
energy, sometimes referred to as "killing breath." Shar
chi comes in straight, sharp blows and disrupts the balance and
harmony of carefully accumulated sheng chi.
The balance that helps to channel, sheng chi hinges on the idea
of yin and yang. The Chinese believe that everything in existence
contains yin and yang, opposite but complementary qualities that
cannot exist independently of one another. Yin is generally the
dark, still quality, while yang is bright and active. You must
always seek to balance light and dark.
Looking closely at the Tai Chi symbol, we see a tiny dot of white
in the dark section and a tiny dot of black in the white section,
This serves to remind us there is a spark of light in the darkness
and vice a versa.

Within YANG
There is an element of YIN

Within YIN

Our environment is constantly being bombarded by forces we cannot
see examples of these would be mobile phones, radio waves, TV
signals, satellites, micro waves, sonar. We cannot sense these
forces but with the aid of certain objects we can easily prove
they exist, simply by switching on your radio, TV, etc, etc.
Putting it simply just because we cannot see or feel it, proves
nothing.
